Meatloaf Supreme
Ground meat formed into a loaf shape, mixed with egg and breadcrumbs, then baked or smoked. The loaf shape is formed by either cooking it in a loaf pan, or forming it by hand on a flat baking pan.
Sparkling Fruits
Pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, strawberries and grapes are treated to a dressing of wine and sparkling club soda in this delightful salad. Serve in dessert dishes or set the whole bowl on the table for a fetching presentation.
Beef Lo Mein
Marinated beef chinese way with baking soda, added some hoisin sauce, used chicken broth, spring onions and Sze Chuan peppercorns.
Put the bacon into a large heavy pot and place it over medium heat. Cook until it starts to give up its fat, about 4 minutes. Stir in the onions and cook, stirring, until they start to turn translucent, about 4 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook until you can smell it, about 1 minute. Add the broth, tomatoes, ketchup, Worcestershire, and chili powder. Stir in the beans, turn the heat to high and bring to a boil. Adjust the heat so the soup is bubbling gently and cook 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi
Tastes EXACTLY like the Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi. It’s a favorite recipe in our home.
Gumbo
Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a heavy bottomed Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until browned on both sides and remove. Add the sausage and cook until browned, then remove. Sprinkle the flour over the oil, add 2 tablespoons of margarine and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until brown, about 10 minutes. Let the roux cool.
Spicy Barbeque Wings
Bake wings in a foil-lined roasting pan at 500 °F on lowest oven rack for 20 min. until crispy, turning once. Combine barbecue sauce and Frank’s RedHot Sauce. Toss wings in sauce mixture until well coated.
Baked potato soup
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add bacon and cook until brown and crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate; set aside. Melt butter in a large stockpot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Whisk in flour until lightly browned, about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, and cook, whisking constantly, until slightly thickened, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in potatoes and green onions. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes. Stir in cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper, to taste. Serve immediately, garnished with green onion, cheese and bacon, if desired.
Macaroni Grill Chicken Cannelloni
Dice the chicken breast into 1/2-inch pieces and place into a large mixing bowl. Add spinach, tomatoes, ricotta, mozzarella, pepper and salt, and mix thoroughly. Arrange precooked pasta sheets on a cutting board and place two or three rounded tablespoons of filling mixture down the center of each pasta sheet and carefully roll pasta around filling in a cigar fashion.
Leftover Turkey and Rice Casserole
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine all ingredients in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole; cover and bake 30 to 40 minutes, until bubbly. Serves 4.
Macaroni Grill Chicken Cannelloni
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray the top side of each sheet of parchment paper with nonstick cooking spray. Place spinach in the center of each of 4 of the parchment sheets. Add carrots and red pepper slices to each stack. Top each spinach and vegetable stack with the vinaigrette. Place one piece of Tilapia on top the the spinach and vegetable mixture. Top each stack with 1 Tbsp of chopped sun dried tomatoes. Place on sheet of the parchment, spray side down on to of each piece of Tilapia. Crimp the two sheet of paper together like a pie crust until the and the top are completely sealed. Place the bags of Tilapia onto a cookie sheet and cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
Cheesy bread
In a large bowl, mix together the cheeses and the green onion. Stir in the mayonnaise and sour cream. In a separate small bowl blend the butter and garlic until smooth. Add the butter mixture to the cheese mixture. Preheat broiler. Slice loaf of bread in half horizontally, lay crust side down. Spread cheese mixture over the bread. Place under the broiler until nicely browned, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Panera Turkey Artichoke Panini
Preheat panini grill to medium temperature. In a medium sauce pan, sauté diced red onion in olive oil until transparent. Add balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper to taste.
Vegetable Soup
Heat the olive oil in large, heavy-bottomed stockpot over medium-low heat. Once hot, add the leeks, garlic, and a pinch of salt and sweat until they begin to soften, approximately 7 to 8 minutes. Add the carrots, potatoes, and green beans and continue to cook for 4 to 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sweet Potato Bread Pudding
Dates and pecans add flavor and texture to this delicious sweet potato bread pudding. Serve this bread pudding with caramel sauce or brown sugar sauce.
